The holidays are fast approaching.

Yesterday I saw my first glimpse of snow. That can only mean one thing, the holidays will be here very soon. We have been very busy at Thatz A Wrap with birthday parties, bar mitzvahs and christenings but the focus is starting to turn toward the holidays. We have decided that we would start the celebration a little early this year. For all holiday gift or party orders placed between November 25, 2007 and December 12, 2007 totalling *$70.00* or more you will receive a complimentary candy can. Each quart size gift can will include a holiday themed label (choice of Christmas, Hanukkah or Happy holidays theme) filled with holiday candies. This offer only applies to winter holiday themed orders. In the month of December we will be offering another exclusive offer for other special occasions. Back in the saddle

It's been a little while since I have added to the blog and there are many reasons why. I recently returned from a very exciting yet very tiring trip to Europe. It has taken me quite sometime to get over the jetlag (they are 6 hrs. ahead ) and get caught up with my orders but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have been developing an idea for the fast approaching holiday season and would love to hear some feedback. The concept I have been working on is a holiday workshop. Clients can choose from predesigned packages and specify any customization they would like. I would print off all the elements of the package and prepare them for assembly. On a specified day myself and Thatz A Wrap staff would bring all orders to a local community center and hold a workshop were we instruct the clients and assist them in assembling there orders. The premise of this idea is that you are able to say you made the gift when you give it to the person of choice. We customize it and print it, you put your special touch to it when you put it together. We would need a minimum number of interested people in order to reserve a space for the workshop. All feedback would be appreciated. I have to finish off this post now as I am stilling catching up on my orders but I will check back in soon. Till then Thatz A Wrap.

New website launch

It has finally happened. Our new and improved Thatz A Wrap website has been launched. There are a few things I am working on in order to make our website more user friendly but the main body of the site is complete. The design and editing of a website is no easy task, my hats off to all who undergo this sometimes frustrating process.

Our new site includes sample design and finished product galleries. Although there are unlimited possiblities for personalized favours, we unfortunately could not post samples of all designs.

Another new feature of the Thatz A Wrap website is the ability to order online. We have added a shopping cart feature to enable clients to order and pay for purchases online. Once you have chosen the type of favour and quantity you would like you are redirected to a payment option screen. Our hope is to make the shopping process as easy as possible for all of our Thatz A Wrap family members. After your purchase is complete we will contact you for more information regarding your purchase and the designs that we feel will add special "TREAT-ment" to your event.

Although we are hopeful the transition runs smoothly for everyone we ask for your patience and understanding should we encounter any problems with the new website. Our pledge to you is to make your experience with Thatz A Wrap a pleasant and memorable one.

Long time no see

Hello everyone,

It has been quite some time since I posted anything as I have been multi-tasking. I plan on the new Thatz A Wrap website being launched by the end of this week which is fabulous news. Not all components are ready but I feel that what is completed needs to be shared and the rest I can work on over time. Designing and editing the new website has been no small task and I am thrilled it has almost come to an end.



I am currently working on a plan for a Christmas workshop which I believe will be great fun. I'll add more information closer to the event.



This is the last week for the kids summer vacation and then they are back to school. Both kids are very excited and have there backpacks stocked with school supplies eagerly waiting there first trip to school this year. I am looking forward to a few solid hours during the day when I can concentrate on my work . It will be lonely at first after months of children (not just my own) constantly wandering past me asking for one thing or another but, I'm sure I'll adjust quickly. This will also be my first year working only from home. At the end of June I retired (at a very young age I must add) from the dental field in order to spend much needed time with my children and in order to concentrate on what I really love working at, Thatz A Wrap. I have been blessed with steady business and look forward to devoting more time to building on what Thatz A Wrap has to offer. I look forward to working with all of you in the future.

So much to do so little time

I am dropping in with a quick note to let everyone know that the design of our new website is installed and hopefully by the end of this week it will be launched for public viewing. The Thatz A Wrap family are very excited about the impending unveiling. There are several other projects we are working on that will expand on our offerings at Thatz A Wrap. We will be introducing watercolour greeting cards as well as beautiful handmade jewelry. So much to do and so little time to do it.
